These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the contest operated by us as part of our initiative to renovate abandoned homes and provide a unique opportunity for individuals to engage in a skill-based video competition. By entering, all participants agree to comply fully with these terms.
Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legal residents of the United States. Proof of age and residency may be required at any stage of the contest, including verification prior to prize transfer. Employees, affiliates, partners, and immediate family members of the organizing team are not eligible to participate.
A non-refundable entry fee of $100 is required for each submission. Payment must be completed through the official contest platform. Entry fees are used to support operational costs, renovation initiatives, and contest administration. Submission is not considered valid until payment is successfully processed.
Participants must submit a 30-second original video storytelling entry in accordance with official guidelines. All content must be original, created by the participant, and must not violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws. Only one entry per participant is permitted.
Submissions must not contain offensive, defamatory, explicit, discriminatory, or unlawful material. Any entry that violates these standards may be disqualified without notice. The organizers reserve the right to reject any content deemed inappropriate or non-compliant.
This contest is skill-based and not determined by chance. Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, storytelling ability, emotional impact, and overall presentation quality. A panel of judges will review all eligible submissions, and their decision will be final and binding.
The prize consists of a renovated residential property located in Virginia. The property is awarded “as is,” and may be subject to additional legal, tax, or transfer requirements. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, maintenance costs, closing fees, and legal transfer expenses.
Transfer of ownership is subject to compliance with all legal requirements and verification procedures. The winner may be required to complete additional documentation before receiving title to the property.
By entering the contest, participants grant the organizers a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display submitted videos for promotional, marketing, and operational purposes across digital and offline platforms.
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, manipulation, duplicate entries, or violation of these terms. Any attempt to interfere with the contest process may result in immediate removal.
The organizers are not responsible for technical errors, submission failures, payment issues, or unforeseen disruptions affecting participation. Participants agree to release the organizers from any liability related to participation or prize acceptance.
The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time due to legal, operational, or unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable state jurisdiction where the property is located.
By submitting an entry, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms and Conditions.
